Application

Type 41 is appropriate for global mining applications, designed for continuous use in waste and industrial water, operating at temperatures up to 40°C and depths reaching a maximum of 2000 meters. Common uses encompass electrically powered machinery, portable electrical equipment in hazardous zones, small pumps, drills, and shuttle cars.

Insulation:

Three tinned copper/nylon braid screened power cores and one unscreened pilot core laid up in the right hand lay around rubber (RD1) filler centre.

Inner sheath:
